I am very family oriented, love music, outdoors, cooking, baking, reading , crafting, growing fresh herbs, e-mailing and talking to my kids on the phone. Sharing recipes and ideas with my mother and others. I am a wife, mother of 3 grown boys & grandmother of 1 grandson and 1 on the way.

I really love Italian food as well as mexican, chinese and good home baking and cooking. I love to try new recipes and I am very lucky because my husband likes to cook and try new things as well. I also love to bake.

I don't get to go to restaurants very much at all but when we can we like to go to Buffets or Cracker Barrel.

I love cooking, baking, reading, crocheting and many other kinds of crafts. I like to put puzzles together. I like taking my little dog (my baby, a long haired chihuahua) pooder for a walk everyday. I like going on picnics and fishing with my husband.

RYC Yeah it is going to be a super busy month between getting all the lights up, cleaning, getting donations etc.....Somedays I dont know my own name......

The live Nativity I am helping with will be the first weekend in December....We are trying to find someone to set it up next year but no one is coming up to the plate.....I dont get along well with the woman who works there......

There is so much to do we started working on contacting churches, sending out flyers weeks ago......I have been in charge of food donations for the volunteers, the baked goods for, people to bake for it and getting food to make.....Since it is all free.......

We take donations but last year didnt make much because of the mother of the woman I dont gewt along with kept getting up and walking away so no one manned the booth to sell ornaments etc.  .....We are in the process of making ornaments etc......putting them in bags instead of boxes cause of the expense.......

Hi bunny -

as far as the herbs go - you can freeze them whole if you like and depending on how many you are placing in a plastic bag will depend on whether or not you want to use any waxed paper in between some of the bunches.

if you want to keep some fresh for use - wash thoroughly and dry as best you can; place on paper towels in plastic bag and you're set.

I hope this helps!

KWC

PS - don't forget that you can wash and chop - the dry in the oven or a dehydrator; place on clean tray and let cool completely; store airtight in a covered container.
