All Over but the Shoutin', cookbooks, non-fiction

Don't have much time to watch.

I'm a senior editor at Garden & Hearth online magazine and cover Barbeque Master and Southern Cooking. Publisher of Cooking Help Web. Southern Cuisine writer at Suite 101. Reviewer at Viewpoints and Epinions. Blog - Barbecue Master.

I write in the evenings and on weekends and teach journalism at a college during the week.

I have two teenage boys. They love to eat which is a good thing, or I'd be huge.

Fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. If you didn't guess, I'm from the South. My family is originally from the mountains, and I've always loved good country cooking.

My doctor told me a couple of weeks ago that I have high cholesterol and also really high tri levels. Bummer!

I'm now working on learning how to cook healthier. Thankfully I love to grill, so that's one thing I do right. I've also added a West Bedn Wok and Oster Steamer to my kitchen.

Mexican. Yum! I love spicy foods. The hotter the better.
