Hi Danny

Ha Ha, that thing on the right you're referring to on the grill is a log of wood burning.  I took the picture form the internet to illustrate to my swedish friend what a mobile "braai"/bbq looks like.  So, the size of the log is a bit of an overkill!  In SA we use wood and/or charcoal to bbq our meat or whatever else we put on there.

Thank you for accepting my friendship request.  I love your pic!  Are you the cook in the house?  What are your favourite meals?  Maybe we can share some.  We're just an ordinary family and we love nice tasting meals.  So it doesn't matter how simple the meal is, it must just taste nice!

I've just told Kerstin, one of my new friends, that it is national "braai" (BBQ) day in South Africa - it's actually national heritage day, but these people will do anything for a social gathering around a fire!  And spring has just started and it is sunny weather already.

I am still giggling about your pic, I'm sure we're going to share a lot of laughs!
