I learned to shop for groceries and prepare meals for the family when I was eight because Mom became sick. When I became a lecturer at a college, my students would ask for certain dishes on special days. Even now as a working mom, I continue to cook for the family and our daughters' friends who drop by our home regularly. I see meal preparation as a labour of love and sharing food as a social grace.

Kimchi is very good. My friend always makes the beef ribs thinly sliced with soy sauce, scallions and sesame oil marinade and then grills. Delicious! We all love them. She even has the grandchildren eating sushi. She makes a kimchi salad with cucumber, baby greens and red pepper flakes that is very good too. Her egg rolls are the best I've ever eaten. Can't beat Asian cooking.

Hi Welcome Winnie! Hope you enjoy this site. I love Chinese, could eat it everyday. My sons MIL is Korean and she has alot of great recipes too. I just love any kind of stir fry of any kind. I think that is the best way to eat your veggies.
