Blog Entry: As you all know we moved into an apartment in May. Well when I got settled in good I brought some huge pots and window boxes to put on the fence railings of the pouch they sort of clamp on the fence railings. Well any way I planted a tomato plant in each big pot with pickling cukes growning with them I thought that I was getting red beefsteak tomatoes but I got a pink one and purple one they are part of the heirloom tomatoes they are full of tomatoes got a lot of ripe ones off them and cukes. Also planted two rose bushes and got two for my birthday in June. I have herbs planted on two window boxes and petunias in the other two my back porch looks so pretty now that every thing is getting ripe all at one time so I am gardening again. I sprinkle 1/2 cup Epsom salts on the dirt and water it in every month plus the fertilizer. Oh I just love to dig in the dirt!!!!!!! So glad that the August Cooking Lite magazine came today as it has a really good Bread and Butter pickles recipe in it and found out about the two tomatoes I planted. Also I want to thank each and everyone of you for the nice comments on my groups. I never thought in a million years that I would ever get 5 stars but last night I did it and the 603 I feel so good about myself thanks for your comments on the recipes to. Have a great evening!!!!!
