Blog Entry: I Just wanted to say I havent forgotten about you all......Only a couple weeks left til the live nativity........ I uploaded a few pictures of the camp.......One is my son Devlin who is only 11 and running a 27 ton splitter, one is one of the fire pits that we use for the shephards area of the live nativity, and one is my bird kip......You can sort of see the wideopen area of the camp.....I will work on resizing a few others of the camp......... Understand we are hoping to make an enormous outcome this year and exceed 1500 people to come over 2 days time during the 2 nights we do this....Friday Dec 12th and Saturday Dec 13th.....We have begged borrowed and asked every church and everyone who can cook to supplies goodies.......Advertised in the communities section of a local newspaper online ( wjhg.com)....Christmas events: Christmas at Dogwood..... I decorated grandmas house who tells you a story a few weeks ago, cleaned the kitchen I am going to use to serve the volunteers out of, dug out 3 fire pits, burned 2 fire pits that were taller than me, moved an entire buildings worth of decorations, gotta decorate the dining hall, we split using the splitter over 4 cords of wood, still have almost 2 cords left, and have put up flyers anywhere they let me. I also stamped 140 bags, punched 8 holes in each of those bags, cut seven rolls of gold beads to go around those bags and taped them to the inside of the bags, plus cut the tissues paper down to size.......We have yet to put the ornaments inside each bag...... I still have to come up with a menu to serve the volunteers, make over 12 loaves of pull aparts, move pots and pans I want to use in the kitchen I will be at, basically stay out there until this is over with. Not counting the fact what ever the churches and people dont come up with we have to go out and buy......... I loves ya but a whooped puppy I am......
