Title: I MUST Be Out of My Mind

Blog Entry: Happy Thanksgiving, Pilgrims and Pilgrimettes!
Having felt like I was coming back to life on Monday, and Tuesday, yesterday I started feeling "croupy" again. I think I will refill the prescription for antibiotics tomorrow, and start taking them again.
Luckily, I talked Joe down from the whole "Thanksgiving Thing". I am NOT doing the turkey, stuffing, veggies, rolls, etc. He is grilling steak on the grill, and he is going to make a green bean casserole...and right now, he is out in the kitchen, baking a pie! *LOL* Yes, I MUST be out of my mind. I'm letting him make a pie. Sort of. He did get a box of Pillsbury ready made pie crusts (the kind you just unroll and stick in the pan...and of course, I had to unroll it for him, and stick it in the pan). But he is making the filling. We're having a SQUASH pie (my family tradition that he always balked at, until he had one), and you just have to follow the directions on the back of the can of squash. So this should be interesting. He only had to ask a ton of questions, because reading the back of the can would have been out of the question...it's much better if he hears it directly from ME, so that if anything goes wrong, he has someone to blame it on.
But don't get me wrong...I am Thankful.
I am Thankful for all the wonderful family, friends, nurses and (sometimes) doctors, that keep me going. I am thankful for the newly renovated kitchen that I hope someday to see the inside of. I am thankful for makers of Kleenex, Chapstick, Lysol and antibacterial hand soap. And yes, I am thankful for Joe, because he gives me lots of material to keep writing these blogs.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful Thanksgiving and is spending it where they are the happiest, and with the ones they love. I'm spending it in bed, with the dog. :-)
