After the Blog...

So after blogging yesterday, and making my generous offer to give hubby away, attached to a $15 bill...(oh wait...they don't make those)...surprisingly (?), no one wanted to take me up on it.  I figured since I had no takers on here, I would "edit" it slightly, and send it out to my "nearest and dearest" (translation:  his family, about 10,000 of my closest friends, my nurses and my therapist!).  Still no takers,  however, I did get the following comments and suggestions:

**$15 is not a bad price for an oversized archery target (this was from hubby's former boss).

**When you list him on e-bay, be sure you offer "free shipping".  (GA Peach pointed out that I had better hope they weren't charging by the pound!  *LOL*)

**Send me $7.50, and yourself....I have a KitchenAid, you can make cookies for me!

**I'm a man, and I have no use for a husband (well, frankly, I don't have much use for one, at the moment, either!)

**How about instead, I send you mine, and you could use them as bookends.

**Damn him, damn him, damn him (this was from one of my nurses, who not only gave him a dirty look this morning, but also announced to anyone that would listen that he was the reason they didn't have cookies today!)

**You should pursue a career in stand-up...Roseanne has nothing on you!!

Several people commented that they think they are married to his brother...and one of the women who actually IS married to one of his brothers, commented that she was laughing so hard when she read it, when she answered the phone when it rang, the person on the other end asked her if she was okay...it was the other brother's wife...and yes, they are both JUST like him.  (God help us all!)

My therapist suggested that I watch him and take notes (I have, and do, they're called "blogs"...all you have to do is check the internet site called "foodpals".  *LOL*), so we could discuss what to do about HIS problems...*LOL*

And finally, hubby e-mailed me this evening, and said that he was taking tomorrow off from work to work on the kitchen.

I think I have finally found his motivator...public humiliation!!!!

Stay tuned for tomorrow's exciting adventure of:  "How the Hubby Crumbles", coming to a blog near you.

Ok -

Jo -

this has been on TV the past week or so - and it was mentioned again - this time it made me think of you.

If it is not a crime to drop children off at a hospital because you can no longer deal with them or take care of them or put up with them -------
why can't you do that with husbands???

(just a thought......................)
