PLEASE STOP IT ALL OF YOU!!!!!

Okay...everyone just take a deep breath and step away from your keyboards!

I don't know what all of this is about...and I DON'T CARE what all of this is about...I just know that it is making some of us, who would prefer to stay neutral on the topic, very uncomfortable.  

I don't get involved in other people's fights.  I don't care to HEAR about other people's fights.  But I can tell you this for a fact...we should all know, in our hearts, the kind of people that we are, what our motives are, what our intensions are, and whether or not we are "good Chistians".  Therefore, the opinions of others about us, especially those on the internet who don't "really" know us, but rather, only know us through the things we write, don't amount to a hill of beans!!!

I care about ALL of you, in my own internetish way.  And I feel badly that some of you can't seem to get along with one another, BUT it is not my problem.  So I don't wish to hear about it...in any form.  I don't want messages about it.  I don't want to see sniping at each other about it.  If two members can't get along, they should steer clear of one another. As my grandmother used to say, "If you don't have anything nice to say about someone, then just don't say anything!"  That should become the golden rule of this website:  If you can't post something nice about or to another member, then don't post anything about them, at all!

Please ladies, try to remember what brought us together in the first place...we wanted to create a place where we were ALL free to exchange ideas about cooking, help each other, make friends, learn, teach...we can't do this if we let petty differences get in our way.  Not to mention that we all want foodpals to grow, and become "the place to be" for recipes and information, on the web.  How do you think it looks to people coming in here for the first time, if we have people taking sides and doing a live performance of "West Side Story"?  I know, I, for one, would have turned and high-tailed it out of here, faster than hubby can....ummmmm...well...you get the idea. 

As I said, it's very uncomfortable around here, for those of us who are determined to not be invoved in this, and who want to stay friends with everyone.  I would hate to have to "pull up stakes" and leave this site, over it.  I would miss all of you.  And I would hope that you would miss me.   

So I don't CARE who "started it".  I don't CARE who is "right" and who is "wrong".  I just care that it doesn't affect the site as a whole. And, if things keep up the way they have been going, it will.  So EVERYONE please just STOP it!!!!

Scary thought:  I just became "the voice of reason".    If that doesn't shame all of you into behaving yourselves, nothing will!
