Hi Ron,
I asked a question on shoutbox,went to another site then returned to shoutbox.Apparently me question was answered but was on the bottom of posts.I was told by one of the members as the talk goes on it is deleted from the bottom.I was wondering if there was a reason it was deleted on shoutbox.

I'm not sure - but the shout box may only be a temporary thing allowing us to chit chat for just a bit and when the page gets full the first posts get deleted.
It's a nice feature (shout box) - but I think if we need something we should ask in a forum - it may be easier and not so time-sensitive.
Just think of 20 or 30 people or more in the shout box at the same time - I did that once on a site - OMG - you can't blink or you lose it completely!

It's not going to be shut down. What that means is the messages posted there are temporary because the older ones drop off to make room for the newer shouts.
