Hi Ron, Papa_D_Chef here, with I hope, what you will take as constructive criticism.
Home page is boring.
Shout box is useless ….all day one persons comment/input on average. NEWS / ANNOUNCEMENTS:Same every day so how can that be news or announcements? This information should be for non members. Nothing to indicate members forum input/feed back.
Enough for now more later my food pal friend.

Hey Ron I didn’t and the more I thought about what I posted you were correct, I should have included suggestions, my bad . So with all of that behind us here are a couple of things I came up with today. How about member of the day/week/month slot. Most rated photo of the week/month slot. And thanks for posting my Japanese wing recipe in your news letter.

I actually like the shout box and other people have told me they do also. Some days it's more active than others.
The news section is mainly to help new member figure out how to use the site. The site is still relatively new to a lot of people. I know it's not really news - maybe I'll change the title if it bothers people.
The most rated photo thing sounds interesting. I may consider that.

I like the shout box - so I hope you don't take it away!
It's a nice way to say hi to our FP buddies, add a quick comment and also let's others know you are on line.
Granted - I don't chat all that much - but when I do it's nice to be able to.
And yes this is still a new site - and the home page has to explain to all the new members what we have to offer.
It's nice that you don't have to keep clicking to find out what it is all about or to look for help.
