Anyone else out there a night owl??

did anyone see the meteor shower last night?

DANG COLD IT WAS!  Yikes!  But with not a cloud in the sky and all the stars and constellations so beautifully visible - the meteor shower looked good!

Too bad it was so cold.

We had a freeze warning.

Hit 28 degrees - that's 4 degrees below freezing.

The first day of the season having to scrape the windshield - oh yeah - there's an art to that!  Fire up the car's furnace (heater) and get the defrosters going full blast and in 10 minutes you're on your way.

And at 5 this morning I was out there with the stars yet - and watching my breath in the cold!  Driving to watch the babies you could see all the exhaust from the cars.  And watch others scrape the windows of their cars along the way.

Of course it's warming back up - but that cold crispness did feel good (and cold!) and that meteor shower was nice!
