THE ECONOMY
Yes we do take alot for granted but, I guess that's our God given right. We do have alot to be thankful for but, if everybody pulled their weight we'd have even more. I have nothing against anyone coming here but, they need to made to pay taxes like the rest of us. That's our God given right for being born in this great land of ours. If they don't want to pay taxes, they can pack their bags and go back where maybe they didn't have anything to be thankful for and a whole lot less to take for granted.Just my opinon.

I agree with you for the most part, KW. We were foreigners, we paid our taxes, and contributed to everything that had to be paid. We had no rights in the USA. We had to go through a long hard process of getting Green cards etc. So, surely people who do pay their share into the coffers should get something back in return.
The econony in every country is suffering at the moment. We have been back in the UK since March, and we have watched prices sky rocket here. And yet the MP's have just voted to keep an expense allowance that enables them to buy things for a second home. As Mr average man on the street, we can't claim from our empolyers for home expenses, so why should they.
Worldwide people are suffering. All I can say is Americans can be grateful that they live where they do. JMHO.
