Well Thanksgiving is upon us. I've been baking for 2 days. Tomorrow I will take a walk through the woods. I want to get a few branches from a pine tree some oak leaves and hope to find a few branches with some acorns attached. Since you don' t find a lot of color on the leaves here a light spray of paint on the edges will give the bit of color I'm looking for. Then I'm going to arrange them in a low oval pine needle basket I made and tucked in among the greens oak leaves and acorns will be some small clove studded oranges and lemons. I think it will be a lovely centerpiece and smell good too.
