Classical is the best relaxer. Oldies are great! Easy listening - and of course - Rod Stewart! I have many favorites - Johnny Mathis, Dionne Warwick, The Beatles, Paul McCartney, Justin Timberlake, Back Street Boys, Cher, Barbra Streisand and many, many more.

Other than cookbooks or craft books I enjoy books on the Civil War, Ancient History, American History, biographies, etc. NO romance novels - waste of time. I'm thinking of buying the complete set of Harry Potter books - I can use the fact that I am an "adopted" gram as an excuse to read them!

I enjoy a good movie with a good plot. Anything from comedy to sci-fi. Nothing too gruesome (like Hannibal movies, Texas Chain Saw, etc.) when I am alone and doing crafts or working on recipes I prefer to watch the old classics, the B & W horror flicks from years ago and the old westerns or war movies. The old classics are the best - and you never needed to worry about ratings! I am not into all those "R" and "X" rated movies.

Hmmmmm - What can I say? I am a happy person, always willing to help, soft-hearted, easy-going. Brought up to be a clean-freak - a real Antiseptic Annie! I enjoy doing all sorts of things - and I'm pretty open-minded. Family-oriented and I love kids! Babies are angels from heaven! I enjoy meeting new people. I love the ballet and the philharmonic and although I have a passion for cooking, I do enjoy a nice quiet evening out in a nice restaurant. And of course - I am a BIG football fan! Hockey is a close second. Then NASCAR racing and gymnastics.

I enjoy my kitchen and my house, and I enjoy gardening as well.

And even though this program says I'm a Virgo - I'm not - I am a Libra.

'Nuff said for now...........don't want to let out ALL my secrets!!!!

Being Italian, of course I love Italian food and if I had to choose only one type of food - it would be Italian. But I was brought up to learn about other cultures and foods so I like quite a bit! I am also not afraid to cook and bake recipes from all over the world.

I'm open on that one! As long as the food is good and the service is friendly - I like it! One preference is QUIET! Nice and quiet - no loud music, etc.

Cooking, baking and playing in the kitchen is my #1! but I also enjoy sewing, knitting, crocheting and doing various crafts including painting and drawing/sketching. Dancing. Teaching/tutoring. Although I retired - I don't think I am retired! Still catering, writing menus, and with doing taxes - no one leaves me alone!

Hi KW,

I wanted to ask a question. I have just started growing my own herbs so that I can have fresh herbs for cooking and they are starting to get really full and I have been cutting, chopping and freezing them in ice cube trays like you say but I was also wondering if I can just freeze them whole in freezer bags or not. I would also like to know if I have to freeze them all or can I keep some of them in the refridgerator to use later and if so how do I do it and how long will they last that way? I hope you can help.

Thanks so much, Bunny

Hi,
I see where cathihall thanked you for the cheese ravioli recipe and said it was very good. My husband and I really like italian food and I would like to know if I could have the recipe.
      Thank you, Annette

Hi KW,

I thank you for helping me with one of my questions on foodpals.com. I looked at the group you have about spices and herbs, it was a lot of help. I checked into a couple of your other groups but I didn't understand what it meant when it said I needed to be a member of of your kitchen witch group when I checked the freebies for foodies. I would like to know more about it.

thank you Annette
