2 CUPS FLOUR


2 CUPS SUGAR


6 EGGS


1 CUP CRISCO


1t VANILLA FLAVORING


1 t PURE ALMOND FLAVORING


CREAM TOG. SUGAR AND SHORTING TILL SMOOTH


ADD 1/4 FLOUR BEAT WELL


ADD 1 EGG BEATING WELL AFTER EACH


CONTINUE ADDING FLOUR AND EGGS ALTERNATELY


SCRAPING BOWL WITH SPATULAR. POUR INTO  TUBE PAN


BAKE 1 HOUR @ 350 DEGREES. 

My Comments:
THIS IS ONE OF MY MOTHERS OLD RECIPES. AND IS DELICIOUS! THE TOP FORMS A CRUST YOU HAVE TO WATCH THE CHILDREN BECAUSE THEY WANT TO JUST EAT THE CRUST AND LEAVE THE CAKE. ESPECIALLY GOOD WHILE STILL WARM.
