Title: Anzac Cookies

INGREDIENTS
1cup flour
1cup sugar
1cup desiccated coconut 
2cups rolled oats
125grams butter
2Tbsp golden syrup
3Tbsp boiling water
1tsp baking soda

METHOD
Put flour, sugar, coconut and oats in a bowl and mix.
Put butter and syrup in a saucepan and melt.
Dissolve soda in boiling water.
Add to syrup mixture and add syrup mixture to dry ingredients.
Mix well and roll in to balls.
Press down with a fork.
Bake 12-15 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
Makes 30 cookies. 



My Comments:
This is a traditional recipe for New Zealanders and Australians. (ANZAC Australian New Zealand Army Corp) We call them biscuits. Apologies for using some metric measures. 500 grams of butter is approx a pound in weight. 180 is approx 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
