1cup desiccated coconut
2cups rolled oats
2Tbsp golden syrup
3Tbsp boiling water
1tsp baking soda
Put flour, sugar, coconut and oats in a bowl and mix.
Put butter and syrup in a saucepan and melt.
Dissolve soda in boiling water.
Add to syrup mixture and add syrup mixture to dry ingredients.
Mix well and roll in to balls.
Press down with a fork.
Bake 12-15 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.
Makes 30 cookies.
