2 lbs frozen hash browns, slightly thawed *or*
58 oz hominy, (2 large cans)
1/4 cup margarine
1/4 chopped onion
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 lb cheddar longhorn cheese
4 oz diced green chiles, (1 can)
8 oz sour cream
10 oz cream of chicken soup, (1 can)
non-stick spray
cornflake crumbs


Mix all ingredients together (except cornflakes) and spoon into sprayed 13- by 9-inch dish. Top with cornflake crumbs. Bake at 35045 minutes. Makes 10 to 12 servings.
