  1. 3-4 pkgs. Tyson chicken tenders

  2. 1-2 bottles of your favorite b.b.q. sauce

  3. 1-2 cans Swanson chicken broth

  4. Crisco cooking spray-or store brand

  5. Dried herbs-rosemary, rubbed sage 1-2 tsp. each, or to taste.

  6. Dried minced garlic, 1-2 tsp. or to taste

  7. 5-6 Quart crock-pot

Spray crock-pot with cooking spray, plug crock-pot in and turn on high, then empty the 1-2 cans chicken broth into the crock.  Stir in desired seasonings. Layer chicken tenders in pot.  Empty 1 bottle of b.b.q. sauce evenly over chicken. Add water just to cover bottom of bottle, replace cap, and shake to get remaining sauce; then pour sauce and water on chicken. Do not stir. Replace lid and cook on high for 1-2 hours, turn down to low and cook for 9-12 hours.  When done, you'll need to save the liquid, because when you shred the chicken-it soaks up alot of the liquid.  You may shred the chicken when its hot or cold, although it shreds easier when its hot.  Shred chicken and put it back in crock-pot, or in a food-storage container that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Re-heat in microwave, stove-top, or in crock-pot, and serve on buns of your choice.

My Comments:
I created this recipe when I had a craving for barbequed chicken. I made enough for a small army-took some to work to feed 5 co-workers, all of whom loved it! It's very easy, and thanks to the crock-pot, it's impossible to over-cook the chicken. The 2nd bottle of b.b.q. sauce will most likely need to be used, especially after the chicken's cooled in the frig. This chicken is especially good on hoagie rolls. Warm the rolls in the microwave, then put the hot b.b.q. chicken on the rolls, and enjoy!
