This recipe was given to me by a friend who used to camp with us. It is special because it's easy to make and has a great texture. Any flavor can be used in the yellow cake mix. Most of the time I use almond flavor. It can be used as a plain poundcake or can be frosted. The cake is also very good with fresh fruit.
