12 bacon strips
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1/3 cup onion, chopped
1 1/2 cups milk
3 large eggs
3/4 cup biscuit baking mix
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Cook bacon in a skillet. Crumble into a greased 9-inch pie pan with shredded Swiss cheese and chopped onion.
In a bowl beat milk, eggs, biscuit baking mix, and pepper with an electric mixer until smooth.
Pour into the pie pan and bake at 350 degrees F. for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the center is set. Cool for 5 minutes before cutting.
Makes 8 servings.
