1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 cup Pace Picante Sauce (hot)
1.1/4 cup molasses
1 Tbsp. spicy-brown mustard
1 can (15-3/4 oz.) Bushe,s Baked Beans (original)
1 can (6-oz.) black beans, rinsed and drained
Heat oil in saucepan. Add onion and cook until tender.
Add picante sauce, molasses, mustard, Bushe,s beans, black beans. heat to a boil. Cook over low heat 5 minutes.
This is a quick way to do beans if you are in a hurry. But I like to put them in a oven that has been preheated to 350*F for one hour or until done. If I do that I will omit the oil and onions and use Bushe's Baked Beans with onions.
