
1-1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 cup Barbecue Sauce
1 small onion
6 hamburger bun
6 lettuce leaves
Preheat grill to medium heat. Mix meat and 2 Tbsp. of the barbecue sauce. Shape into six patties. Remove 2 Tbsp. of the remaining barbecue sauce; place in small bowl. Set aside to spread onto the buns as directed just before serving.
Grill patties 15 to 18 min. or until cooked through (160°F), turning the patties over after 8 min. and adding the onions to the grill for the last 4 min. of the meat grilling time, brushing the onions and burgers occasionally with the remaining 1/4 cup barbecue sauce for the last few min. of the grilling time.
Spread cut sides of buns with the reserved 2 Tbsp. barbecue sauce. Fill with lettuce, burgers and onions.
