Title: Beef Patties In Breadcrumbs
Date: 10/25/2007 12:39:05
Posted by: pudgy47

INGREDIENTS :

1 Lb ground sirloin

1/2 tps. dried thyme

1/2 tps. salt

 1/8 tps. black pepper

1 egg

 2Tbs. minced onions

3 Tbs. dry breadcrumbs

4 Tbs. butter

Breadcrumbs for dredging

PREPARATION :

Mix together the sirloin, thyme, salt, pepper, egg, onions, and 3 bs. breadcrumbs. Form the beef mixture into 4 oval patties, and then roll them in the extra breadcrumbs. Melt butter over medium-high heat in skillet.

Saute the beef patties for 5 minutes on each side, until desired doneness. Serve hot.

My Comments:
Dredging beef patties in the breadcrumbs and then sauteing them in butter brings a fantasic flavor to this dish.
