Title: Beer Baked Pork Chops

4 bone in pork chops
2 large onions, sliced and separated into rings
1 (12 oz) beer (your favorite kind)
¾ cup light brown sugar
1½ cups ketchup
1-2 teaspoons (according to your taste) dried basil

Combine beer, sugar, ketchup and basil.  Mix well.  Line the bottom of a 9x13 baking pan with aluminum foil (makes clean up easier).  Spray with cooking spray.  Put a little less than half of the beer mixture in the bottom of the pan.  Lay in the pork chops, and cover the chops with the onions.  Pour the rest of the beer mixture over the top, and cover with foil.  Let marinade in the refrigerator for a couple of hours, or overnight.  When ready to cook, preheat oven to 350°.  Bake for one hour, or until the internal temperature of the pork chops are 160°.
