1/4 tsp salt 1 tsp freshly-ground black pepper 1/4 tsp red pepper 1/4 tsp paprika 1/4 tsp garlic powder 4 halibut steaks - (4 oz ea)
In a small bowl, combine the salt, black and ground red peppers, paprika, and garlic powder; mix well. Rub evenly over both sides of the fish. Preheat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. When hot, remove from the heat and, away from the cooking surface, coat with nonstick cooking spray. Return the skillet to the heat, add the fish, and cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Serve immediately.
