1 loaf of French Bread
6 slices of aged swiss cheese
1 onion chopped
1 tsp garlic salt
1/2 stick of butter softened
Saute onions with an ounce of the butter until onions are opaque. Slice French bread lenghtwise and butter with the rest of the butter. Sprinkle the buttered bread with garlic salt and cover with slices of Swiss Cheese. Place bread on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees until cheese is bubbly and brown on the edges. Serves 4-6
Great with soup especially potato
