Title: Chinese Barbecue Sauce

1/2 cup dry sherry


1/2 cup hoisin sauce


1/2 cup Ketchup


2 Tbsp. minced peeled fresh ginger


2 Tbsp. rice vinegar


1 Tbsp. honey


2 tsp. Sriracha ( hot chile sauce, such as Huy Fong)


1/4 tsp. five-spice powder


1 garlic clove, minced


 


Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium-high heat, bring to a simmer.  Cook sherry mixture for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.


 

My Comments:
This is good with ribs.
