3 oz bittersweet chocolate, in pieces
1 Tbs light-brown sugar
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
2 cups low-fat (1%) or whole milk

Combine the chocolate, sugar, cinnamon and 1/2 cup of the milk in a small, heavy saucepan. Whisk constantly over medium-low heat to melt the chocolate until the mixture forms a smooth paste. Then slowly pour in the rest of the milk, whisking until warmed through. Serve.
This recipe yields 2 servings.

Comments: Be sure to use a heavy pot when melting the chocolate, or it may burn. Slow and steady wins the race.
