Crab Appetizer
- 1 package 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 can (6 ounces) crabmeat, or about 1 cup
- 2 tablespoons minced onion
- 1 tablespoon half and half
- 1/2 teaspoon ground salt (to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon sliced scallions or chives, for garnish
- Combine cream cheese, crabmeat, onion, half and half, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Place mixture in an ovenproof serving dish.
- Bake at 375° for about 15 minutes, or until thoroughly heated.
- Sprinkle with chopped scallions and serve with crackers or pita chips.
