Crock Pot Tomato/Spaghetti sauce
Ingredients:
1 large can tomato puree
1 cup of low sodium vegetable broth
1 large can of crushed tomatoes
1 can tomato paste 6 oz.
1/3 cup fresh minced garlic ,i add more;)
1 large onion chopped finely
2 teaspoons oregano
2 tablespoons of sugar
3 teaspoons chopped basil
fresh black pepper to taste
3 teaspoons Mrs.Dash Garlic & Herb
1 large bell pepper chopped green and/or red ,i use both
4 plum tomatoes chopped
You can add mushrooms,etc.
You can add browned ground beef and/or browned sausage
Add salt and or seasonings to taste
Directions :
Mix everything in a large bowl until well combined pour into crock pot and cook on low for 6-8 hrs. on high for 3-4 hrs.
