- 2 (14 ounce) cans green beans, with liquid or 1 1/2 lbs fresh steamed green beans
- 6 slices cooked bacon, reserve drippings
- 3 tablespoons bacon drippings(optional)
- 6 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 6 tablespoons brown sugar
Cut cooked bacon into half inch pieces.
Place all ingredients in a small crock pot including some of the bacon drippings (optional).
Cook on low 6-8 hours. The longer the beans cook, the more flavorful they are.
