Fresh Cranberry Sauce
Ingredients:
1 pound fresh cranberries
2 small boxes raspberry,cherry,strawberry or any red Jello
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 water
1 teaspoon of zest from a fresh lemon and/or orange
1/3 cup sugar
about a 1/2 cup of additional hot water
ice cubes about 1 cup
Directions:
Place cranberries in a sauce pan add orange juice and water ,then sugar and zest.
Bring to a boil.
Then simmer until berries pop.
Turn off heat.Remove from heat.
Allow berries to cool slightly .
Drain off liquid,but keep .
Place berries in a bowl add both boxes of Jello.
Slowly add reseved cooking liquid until Jello is dissolved.
Add ice cubes,stir to dissolve .
Place covered in fridge until set .
