
1 garlic clove, minced
1-2 Tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar
1/2 Cup fresh basil leaves, cut into strips
1/2 Pound fresh mozzarella, sliced in 1/4" thick pieces
1/3 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 Tablespoon Capers
2 large Heirloom Tomatoes, sliced thick
3 basil leaves for garnish
Freshly cracked pepper
Kosher Salt
Black Olives
On a platter, overlap alternating slices of tomatoes and mozzarella sprinkled with basil. Combine olive oil, garlic and vinegar and drizzle over the tomatoes and cheese. Sprinkle with pepper and salt. Garnish with capers, olives and whole basil leaves. Serve immediately.

Meal Idea: Serve with slices of baguette bread. This can be a wonderful side dish or a main course with grilled vegetables.
