in a large pan (I use my 6 qt. roaster) heat the tomato juice. Stir in the tomato paste. Continue stirring until dissloved. add sugar and parmesan. Stir and cover. Add your favorite meatballs (see other recipe), cook 2 hours. Serve over pasta.
My Comments:
This sauce is sweeter, I actually cut down on the sugar, which used to be 2 cups. I think this is what Italians would call "gravy". We love it! You can cut this in half, it makes a lot!
