Title: Green Tea Granita

3 cups boiling water
4 regular-sized green tea bags
1 (2") piece peeled fresh ginger, quartered
1/2 cup honey
3 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice

Pour boiling water over tea bags and ginger in a medium bowl.  Cover and let stand 5 minutes.  Add honey and lemon juice, stir to combine.  Strain tea mixture through a sieve into a bowl, discard solids.  Cool completely.  Pour mixture into an 8" square baking dish.  Cover and freeze 8 hours or until firm.

Remove tea mixture from freezer, scrape entire mixture with a fork until fluffy.

Yield 6 servings.

My Comments:
You can use any flavor tea bags or you can let it set longer for a stronger taste or less time for a weaker tea taste.
