1 gallon of cider
(apple)
2 cups of water
1 ½ - 2 cups of light
brown sugar
2/3 cup of orange juice
1/2 cup of lemon juice
4 tea bags
1/4 cup of cinnamon bark
(sticks)
1 tablespoon of whole
cloves Place tea bags, cinnamon
bark and cloves in a spice bag. Tie the
bag with string and place in a kettle with the other ingredients. Bring almost to a boil; then simmer for 20 minutes. Serve hot.
A little Xmas cheer may be added if desired.
PS. I like to slice some oranges and let then float on
top of the wassail. Enjoy!!
