2C broken thin pretzels 3T + 3/4 C sugar 3/4C melted butter 2pkg of 3oz orange jello 2C boiling water 2-8oz cans of crushed pineapple, drained (approx) 1-11oz can of mandarin oranges, drained and halved 1pkg of 8oz cream cheese softened 2C whipped topping
Make jello with boiling water. Do NOT add cold water as directed on pkg. Add the pineapple and oranges. Chill till almost set. Meanwhile, mix pretzels, butter and 3T sugar in 9X13 pan. Press into a crust over the bottom. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool. When jello mix almost set, beat the cream cheese and 3/4 cup sugar till fluffy. Fold in the whipped cream. Spread Cream cheese mix evenly over the pretzel crust. Spread the thickened jello over the cream cheese layer. Chill till set or serving time.
