Title: Quick Peach Cobbler
Date: 09/13/2007 07:02:10
Posted by: Motherhope

2 large cans of sliced peaches (heavy syrup)

1 box of yellow cake mix

1 stick of butter(or margarine) preferably butter

Pour both cans of peaches into a 9x13 pan (syrup included)

Sprinkle the entire (dry cake mix) over peaches. Cut butter into pats and spread over the mixture. Bake at 325 until golden brown.

My Comments:
This is an easy simple recipe, particularly if don't make your crust or buy prepared pie crust. Some people call it a version of dump cake. I have tried several peach cobbler recipes and have never been satisfied, but my family loves it especially with ice cream. One important tip- the first time I made this I used all the syrup in both cans, too much juice, but still delicious. Now I use all the syrup from one can and half from the 2nd.
