COFFEE ALMOND FREEZE
4 oz. almond Italian syrup
8 oz. milk
3 oz. strong, freshly brewed coffee
Pinch of fresh ground coffee
20 oz. ice
Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth.
NOTE: Flavored Italian syrups can be found in coffee bars, gourmet and supermarkets.
Makes 3 to 4 servings.
FROZEN CAPPUCCINO
1 cup vanilla frozen yogurt or vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup milk
1 Tbsp. chocolate syrup
1-1/2 tsp. instant coffee granules
Place 1/2 scoop of frozen yogurt or ice cream, milk, chocolate syrup and coffee granules in a bowl of a blender. Process 30 seconds or until smooth. Pour into a tall glass, top with remaining 1/2 cup frozen yogurt or ice cream.
Makes 1 serving
STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIE
4 oz. strawberry Italian syrup
4 oz. milk
3/4 cup vanilla yogurt 20 oz. ice
Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth
Makes 3 to 4 servings
BEACH BERRY BLAST
Two 8 oz.. containers of mixed berry yogurt
3 cups milk
2 cups sliced strawberries
1-1/2 pints strawberry ice cream
1-1/2 cup chilled raspberry seltzer
1/2 cup blueberries
Process yogurt, milk and strawberries in blender until smooth. Pour into four 8 oz. glasses and top off with seltzer. Add blueberries ans serve.
Makes 4 servings.
