8-oz. uncooked angel hair pasta 2 tsp. olive oil 1 lb. peeled and deveined shrimp 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. black pepper 1 Tbsp. bottled minced garlic 1-1/2 Tbsp. chilie paste with garlic 1 tsp. ground cumin 1 (14.5-oz.) can diced tomatoes, undrained 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
Cook pasta as per pkg directions, omitting salt While pasta cooks, heat oil in a large nonstick skillet. Sprinkle shrimp with salt and black pepper, add shrimp to pan and cook 1 minute on each side or until done.
Add garlic to pan, sauté 1 minute. Add chilie paste, scraping to loosen browned bits. Add cumin and tomatoes, simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove pan from heat. Stir in shrimp, parsley and red pepper. Toss with pasta.
Yield 4 servings

Crushed red pepper and chilie paste with garlic add heat to the saucy shrimp. Good served with garlic toast, veggie salad and choice of drink
