1 pound ground ham 1 ½ pounds ground pork 1 cup bread crumbs 1 cup milk 1 large egg 1 cup brown sugar 1 tablespoon dry mustard ½ cup vinegar ½ cup water Mix meat, bread crumbs, egg, milk and half the dry mustard thoroughly. Form into small balls. Place in greased baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients. Stir until brown sugar dissolves. Pour over meat balls. Bake in 325-degree oven covered for ½ hour. Uncover and bake for additional ½ hour, basting frequently and turning meat balls several times during the second ½ hour.
Yield: 60-70 meatballs.
