olive oil 1 lb. ground beef 2 pks. of pepperoni chunks or stick pepperoni cut into chunks 1lb. sausage(any is ok but mild or sweet italian is best) 2 1lb. boxes of ziti pasta 2 16oz. container ricotta cheese 2 16 oz. container cottage cheese 2 jars pasta sauce 2 16 oz shredded mozzarella cheese 1 8 oz. cheddar cheese
brown ground beef in pan drain fat set aside. simmer sausage in pan of water until cooked through. cook pasta according to box directions until almost cooked through.
preheat oven to 350 degrees. in a large dutch oven type baking dish place olive oil just enough to coat so nothing sticks about a tablespoon or so then place cooked pasta, cooked sausage, cooked ground beef, all the pepperoni and all cheese's including the cottage and ricotta cheese >> (except for 1 package of mozzarella) in pan pour in sauce and mix through until well combined with any seasonings of your choice i usually only use a little extra garlic and basil.place remaining bag of cheese over top evenly. place foil over top of baking dish and bake for about 20 to minutes with foil on (a few slits in the top). then remove foil and bake for about 20 minutes or so more until cheeses are melted completely through and top is just starting to brown some. let stand for about 10 minutes to set. serves approx. a good portion for about 10 people

My Comments:
a similar ziti dish was made at a friends place for a party and was enjoyed by myself and family but was a bit to much on the stomache\\\'s so i started my own version to it. that\\\'s why you will notice i did not add spices to ingredients but stated what i use during the combining of it all cause many do enjoy different seasonings and some may choose not to add none at all.also if your wanting boneless pork is also very good in this and it can be done with ground turkey or chicken if preferred over beef so this is very adaptable to your liking..enjoy
