5-6 large potatoes, peeled and diced- place in pot with cold water add 1 tbls dried chives,parsley, garlic salt, freshly cracked black peper, boil all together untill potatoes are fork tender.  Drain place in mixing bowl, add 1 stick salted butter, couple splashes of milk, and 1/2-1 cup sourcream,  mix well getting out all the lumps.  add garlic salt, chives, parsley on top for color. 

no gravy is needed for these taters,  we serve them with a pin wheel steak wrapped in bacon and grilled for 3-4min each side, place steak on  bed of potatoes and mmmm..melt in your mouth delish.....I hope you enjoy as much as we do..
